I Drop Of Madness nascono a Bari uniti dalla reciproca passione che hanno per l'heavy metal più duro ispirandosi a band come Gamma Ray, Iron Maiden ed Helloween. Nel 2009 viene finalmente pubblicato il loro primo album ufficiale "The Ashes of the Resurrection".
